Privacy Policy

This page explains how dainty handles information when you use the daily challenge.

What we collect

• Your challenge text (only for scoring in your browser; not stored in a database).
• Basic, ephemeral logs (errors, performance) on the server to keep the app running.
• Anonymous usage analytics (via Umami, cookie-less). No personal profiles or targeted ads.

How we use it

• Validate the rules and generate a coach score/feedback for your submission.
• Improve reliability and understand general usage patterns.
• Some submissions may also be processed by OpenAI (our AI provider) for research and model improvement. This does not include sensitive or personal data, and you should not enter such data into dainty.

Storage

Your attempts, best score, and recent result are stored in your browser (localStorage) per day.

We are not operating user accounts or a public gallery yet.

Third-party services

We may use Umami for anonymous analytics. It does not set tracking cookies by default.

We use OpenAI to generate scores and feedback. By playing, you consent to your submissions being sent to OpenAI, who may use them as “Designated Content” to improve their services.
